Massive collapse of the lung with acute respiratory infection

      Summary

      Five cases of pulmonary aelectasis occurring in acute respiratory infections are reported. Chemotherapy and physiotherapy produced little improvement and the more frequent use of bronchoscopy is advocated in this type of case.
