Decedents with interstitial lung diseases and the likelihood of death certificate documentation

Published:November 22, 2022DOI:https://doi.org/10.1016/j.rmed.2022.107060

      Highlights

      • ILD is underreported on the death certificates of those with this condition
      • Underreporting is higher when the type of ILD is unspecified
      • Further efforts are needed to increase the awareness of ILD
      • There is an increased need for physician education on DC documentation
